Chlorinated paraffin is a chlorinated derivative of paraffinic hydrocarbons. Depending on the chlorine content, it is mainly classified into three grades: chlorinated paraffin–42 (CAS No. 63449-39-8), chlorinated paraffin–52 (CAS No. 106232-86-4), and chlorinated paraffin–70 (CAS No. 108171-27-3).
Chlorinated polyethylene (CPE), with CAS No. 63231-66-3 and a molecular weight typically ranging from 10,000 to 200,000 g/mol, is a saturated polymer often used as a modifier for polyvinyl chloride (PVC).
Chlorinated Polyethylene (CPE)
Chlorinated polyethylene (CPE), with CAS No. 63231-66-3 and a molecular weight typically ranging from 10,000 to 200,000 g/mol, is a saturated polymer often used as a modifier for polyvinyl chloride (PVC).
Dibutyl phthalate (DBP), with CAS No. 84-74-2, a molecular formula of C₁₆H₂₂O₄, and a molecular weight of 278.34, is a common phthalate ester compound primarily used as a plasticizer.
Dioctyl phthalate (DOP), with CAS No. 117-81-7, a molecular formula of C₂₄H₃₈O₄ and a molecular weight of 390.56, is the most widely used general-purpose primary plasticizer.
Dioctyl terephthalate (DOTP), with CAS No. 6422-86-2, a molecular formula of C₂₄H₃₈O₄, and a molecular weight of 390.56, is an environmentally friendly alternative to dioctyl phthalate (DOP).
Dioctyl adipate (DOA), with CAS No. 103-23-1, a molecular formula of C₂₂H₄₂O₄, and a molecular weight of 358.57, is a typical cold-resistant plasticizer.
Dioctyl sebacate (DOS), with CAS No. 122-62-3, a molecular formula of C₂₆H₅₀O₄, and a molecular weight of 426.68, is an excellent cold-resistant plasticizer.
The calcium-zinc stabilizer is, in fact, a “composite additive system.”
